Officials searching for work furlough inmate

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Inmate Eric Fernando failed to return back to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center after work Thursday morning. Fernando left Wednesday morning and he was supposed to return at 3:30 am Thursday morning. Sheriffs and HPD were notified.

Fernando is 24 years old. He is 5'6" tall and weighs 130 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was serving time for Burglary. His next parole hearing was scheduled for December. Once found, Escape 2 will be added to his charges.
