HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Tomorrow in the general election you'll have to opportunity to vote in three At-Large Trustees for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA). Today, Sunrise brought in the last candidate, John Waihee IV, to find out why he believes he is the right man for the job.
The name John Waihee may ring a bell and that's probably because you recognize the Board of Trustees candidate's father, John Waihee III, the former governor of Hawaii. The younger Waihee says his biggest priority is home ownership and housing. Right now Waihee IV is worried about the large number of native Hawaiians who don't own a home and are not living comfortably.
