A photo gone viral across social media has finally found its way back to the couple that started it all.
Professional photographer Mariah Dagupion was searching for a newly-engaged couple after capturing their proposal at Wailea Beach in Maui, but was working another wedding at the time and was unable to find the couple afterwards.
With the help of social media, it only took two days for mutual friends of the couple to tell them the good news.
29-year-old Griffin Rojo and 25-year-old Stephanie Schrank from Oregon said they have spoken with Dagupion, and were pleased to hear she would be emailing them their photos, free of charge.
"It seems like perfect timing that she was right there, and was able to catch a moment," Schrank said. "It was one of the best moments of my life and I'm very thankful for her."
The newly-engaged couple told Hawaii News Now they had no idea the pictures existed, and were shocked when they found out.
Rojo and Schrank plan to marry next fall, and say they will spend their honeymoon back on Maui, where the whole story began.
