KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The family of fallen soldier Sgt. Drew Scobie announced Thursday that they have recovered medals that were stolen from their Kailua home last week. Sgt. Scobie's medals were returned Tuesday with the help of an intermediary, who wishes to remain anonymous.

The Scobie family said all medals have been returned undamaged, and the certificates accompanying the medals were also returned, although some sustained water damage.

However, a computer, camera and jewelry still remain missing.

Sgt. Scobie, a 25-year-old Hawaii Army National Guardsman, died in a plane crash in Afghanistan earlier this year.
