HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for the island of Oahu until 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
At 1:36 p.m., radar showed heavy rain affecting much of the Koolau Range and portions of the Windward coast from Hauula to Waimanalo. The heaviest rain was observed near Waiahole. The area of heavy rain was nearly stationary.
Other locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Punaluu, Waikane, Pupukea, Laie, Kahuku, Kaneohe, Manoa. Kaaawa, and Hauula.
This advisory may need to be extended beyond 4:45 p.m. if heavy rain persists.
