Tulsi Gabbard Addresses Ebola Outbreak

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Ebola has amassed over 4,500 hundred deaths in West Africa, and with cases of the deadly disease starting to pop up in the U.S., American citizens are calling for restricted access of air travel from West Africa to the United States.

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard joins Sunrise to tell us what precautionary measures she believes the government should take to fight the spread of Ebola. Congresswoman Gabbard supports restricting access to people who have been in West Africa and plan to travel to the United States. She does not believe temperature checks and questioning travelers about their health in airports is enough to prevent further outbreak.
