HPD seeks suspect in McDonald's robbery

MOILIILI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a McDonalds in Moiliili.

A witness told Hawaii News Now a man entered the restaurant on King Street around 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon, wearing a white outfit and a black mask. The suspect threatened the cashiers and cleaned out three registers before running out.

A couple of patrons tried to chase after the suspect, but were unable to catch him after he scaled a wall.

Police have not confirmed if this is the same suspect who has held up more than three dozen businesses on Oahu, who has bragged about never being caught.

Officials were able to put together a sketch of the suspect after a witness caught a glimpse of the man.
