HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Central Pacific Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm watch for the Big Island, with Ana expected to start impacting the state as early as this Friday.
At the 5 p.m. Wednesday update, the Central Pacific Hurricane Center said the center of Ana was located less than 700 miles southeast of Hilo.
The track and intensity of the storm is still subject to change. There is a higher degree of uncertainty for the fourth and fifth days.
