The Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting the 26th Annual Talk Story Festival. To get you in the mood for Halloween, Sunrise invited one of the story tellers who will be featured at the event to tell a local ghost tale.
Jeff Gere of the City and Council of Honolulu Park Department recalls a tale of an infamous hitchhiker on Saddle Road.
Due to Tropical Storm Ana, the Talk Story Festival, originally scheduled for Oct. 16 and 17, will now be held on Nov. 7 and 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McCoy Pavilion Auditorium at Ala Moana Beach Park. This is a free event open to the public. For more information visit www.honoluluparks.com
