Medical examiner identifies pedestrian killed

HONOLULU (AP) - The name of a pedestrian killed last week by a car in Honolulu has been released by the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports 73-year-old Onofre Quiton was struck by a car at 11:45 p.m. Friday in the Kalihi neighborhood at School and Houghtailing streets.

He was struck by a small sedan driven by a 56-year-old woman.

Quiton suffered head and body injuries and was taken in critical condition to Queen's Medical Center. He died Saturday.
