Aloha United Way has a brand new President and Chief Executive Officer. Steve sits down with the new leader, Cindy Adams, to talk about her job history before accepting the new position and her goals for the future.
Cindy was formerly the Executive Director of the Hawaii Meth Project as well as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at a private sector. This year, Aloha United Way is hoping to raise a total of $9.6 million. Cindy affirms Aloha United Way is currently ahead of their projected marks at this point in the year but would like to keep this momentum going.
As new President and CEO, Cindy would like donors to be given more information and follow-up on where their money is going and how it is being spent to help the local community.
