HONOLULU (AP) - A 64-year-old woman killed in a four-vehicle crash along the H-1 Freeway died of blunt force injuries.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner says 64-year-old Beverly Ledesma of Waipahu died Oct. 1 when her pickup went over a guardrail and rolled down an embankment in Aiea.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports Ledesma was driving east and changing lanes when she struck the front bumper of another vehicle.
Ledesma's truck veered off the roadway and rolled down a 60- to 80-foot embankment about a quarter-mile east of the Kaahumanu Street overpass. Ledesma was thrown from the truck.
The second vehicle swerved into the metal guardrail and veered left, colliding with two more vehicles.
No one else was injured.
