Flood Advisory extended for parts of Oahu

The National Weather Service has extended a Flood Advisory for Oahu until 6 p.m.

At 2:54 p.m., radar showed heavy rain over Central Oahu, the Waianae Mountains and the Waianae coast. Other locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Kaena Point, Mokuleia, Wahiawa, Makua Valley, Waialua, Makaha and Waianae.

This Flood Advisory replaces the previously issued advisory that was in effect for portions of Oahu. This advisory may need to be extended beyond 6 p.m. if heavy rain persists.
