HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors don't play until Saturday, but the team is already in the Lone Star state.
UH landed in Houston early Thursday morning and held a 90-minute practice.
Hawaii is not only looking for its second win of the season, but its first road victory in three years.
They are currently on a 14-game road losing streak.
Norm Chow is also vying for his first 'W' away from Halawa.
"It's just important to win ball games," Chow said. "We haven't won a lot of ball games around here, but I think, I tell you what, it's not because of a lack of effort. These young people give us everything they have and i'm awfully proud of them."
Kickoff against the Owls is set for 1 p.m. Hawaii time.
