Kaiser Permanente trying to ease doctor shortage with new Internal Medicine Residency Program

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

To help address the local doctor shortage, Kaiser Permanente has created a new physician residency program. It combines the usual hospital time with time in clinics, where so much outpatient work is now performed.

With more residency spaces and improved technology available, it helps to create more opportunity for local residents to stay home or come home. It also helps to attract the best and brightest doctors to come to Hawaii.
