In this edition of On the Radar, meteorologist Jennifer Robbins takes to the skies.
Jen got a chance to see what it feels like to be a superhero, testing out the "Fly Board" at Fly HI Oahu on Sand Island. The rider controls the "Fly Board" by adding and reducing pressure with their feet, which are strapped to the board with snowboard like boots. The instructor increases and decreases water pressure on the throttle.
In addition to the Fly Board, is the Jetovator, a hybrid between a flying bicycle and a jet ski, At full throttle new comers can soar anywhere between 20 and 30 feet, pros have been know to reach a whopping 40 foot peak.
Fly HI Oahu is giving away two free passes to test the Fly Board and Jetovator. Log onto the Hawaii News Now Facebook page and click the "Freebies" tab to see how you can enter for a chance to win.
