HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Department of Public Safety is looking to fill Adult Correction Officer (ACO) vacancies on Oahu, Hawaii, Kauai and Maui. The recruitment will open on the Department of Human Resources and Development (DHRD) jobseekers webpage Saturday morning and will end on Friday, October 10 at midnight.
To qualify, candidates must meet all of the requirements listed on DRHD's webpage. The qualified applicants must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Applicants must have one year of responsible work experience which shows that the applicant possesses the ability to relate effectively with people, follow the instructions of a supervisor, and give or exchange information well.
