HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Kokokahi Community Fair is this weekend and along with all the fun, food and live entertainment, the fair will offer visitors the chance to check their vision. Project Vision Hawaii will be offering free medical screenings this Saturday.
Here on Sunrise to talk about both the fair and the mission of Project Vision Hawaii is Ron Foronada, the Camp Manager at the YWCA Kokokahi, and Annie Hiller, Executive Director of Project Vision Hawaii. At the Project Vision booth, children can get tested for near and far sightedness as well as amblyopia.
And to protect those eyes on what looks to be a sunny Saturday afternoon, Project Vision Hawaii will being giving away free pairs of sunglasses.
