HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Honolulu restaurant was packed with customers as it got ready to serve its final meal -- for now.
Angelo Pietro's lease ends this Sunday. The manager says it was too expensive to renew so the eatery is looking for a new location.
If a deal is reached, it'll take a several months to re-open the restaurant.
According to the manager, the restaurant originally opened in 1987 near McKinley Carwash, then moved to its current location next to Shokudo on Kapiolani Boulevard 17 years ago.
