Company confirms time of alleged Mike Brown audio

(CNN) – An online streaming company has confirmed an alleged audio of the shooting death of Michael Brown was indeed recorded near the time of his death.

The streaming app company, Glide, authenticated it.

The revelations bolster's a man's claim he inadvertently recorded audio of the shots fired at the 18-year-old by an officer on Aug. 9.

Experts say you can hear 10 shots.

CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of the recording.

But the sounds could be a piece in the larger puzzle of what happened during the shooting, which spurred days of protests in Ferguson, MO.
