High Surf Advisory extended for south shores

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A High Surf Advisory has been extended until 6 a.m. Sunday for south-facing shores of the islands.

The National Weather Service said a moderate sized swell will keep surf heights above advisory levels through at least Saturday.

Surf is expected in the 6 to 9 foot face range. Swimmers and surfers are advised to check with lifeguards before going out.
