KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Jill Hansen, a self-proclaimed professional surfer who's accused of hitting an elderly woman with her car, has been arrested again.
Honolulu police arrested Hansen, 30, on suspicion of violating a protective order at approximately 4:55 p.m. Saturday at the Women's Community Correctional Center in Kailua.
Sources say she sent three letters to her father from jail. Her father has a restraining order against her.
Hansen is already facing attempted murder charges after a May incident in which she followed a woman into a Waikiki parking garage and hit her with her car. The victim, in her 70s, was hospitalized in serious condition with cuts and bruises.
