HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the American Heart Association announced today that the O‘ahu Heart Walk has been rescheduled for October 4, 2014 at Kapi‘olani Park. The event, originally scheduled for August 9, was postponed when all city parks were closed due to the threat of Hurricane Iselle.
DPR had previously announced a make-up date in September, however a conflict later became apparent, necessitating this move to October 4. DPR sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience as they accommodate the emergency rescheduling.
