MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The SEC Network debuted Thursday afternoon, and you may be wondering where you can watch it or how to get it.

First, you need cable or satellite service. However, the basic package won't get you the network in all cases.

We checked with some of the major providers in our area to find out how you can get the network.

If you have DirectTV, you'll need the choice package or above. In terms of cost, that's the middle of the line.

With Dish you have to have the Top 120 Plus package or above. That's two steps up from the basic service.

Charter tells us the SEC Network is available with its basic service.

WOW offers the SEC Network with its expanded basic package.

For those of you on Troy Cable, the SEC Network is available through the basic service.

To find out what channel you can watch the SEC Network on, you can visit the SEC Network website. All you have to do is put in your zip code and cable provider.
