A 63-year-old man was found dead around 4:07 p.m. Wednesday when his body was pulled from waters in the Pearl Harbor area.
The U.S. Coast Guard received the missing report of the paddleboarder from Hickam Morale and Welfare folks.
He had rented a stand-up paddleboard before he was reported missing.
Officials say when pulled from the water, the male was found unresponsive.
The case has been passed along to the Honolulu Police Department's homicide detail and is currently classified as an unattended death.
