HONOLULU (AP) - Secretary of State John Kerry is wrapping up an eight-day, round-the-world diplomatic trip in Hawaii with a speech outlining the Obama administration's new priorities in its much-touted "pivot to Asia."

In a Wednesday speech to the East-West Center think-tank in Honolulu, U.S. officials say Kerry would lay out four areas that administration will focus on for its remaining 2½ years. Those include creating sustainable economic growth, powering a clean energy revolution, promoting regional cooperation and empowering people, the officials said.

Kerry arrived in Honolulu early Wednesday after a four-nation Asian journey that began with an unannounced visit to Afghanistan and continued with stops in Myanmar, Australia and the Solomon Islands. He is set to return to Washington late Thursday.
