HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Ala Moana Center will maintain normal business hours today, Thursday, Aug. 7. However, due to the impending weather caused by Hurricane Iselle, the Center will be closed on Friday, Aug. 8. The mall will re-open for normal business hours on Saturday, Aug. 9 unless otherwise notified. Mall management will continue to monitor the storm and will adjust plans if needed.
"Our primary concern is the safety of our customers and employees," said Francis Cofran, general manager, Ala Moana Center. "We are working closely with government agencies and emergency personnel to assess the situation and prepare for the storm," he added.
Pearlridge Center also announced late Thursday that it will officially be closed tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.
Certain merchants — for example, the DSI Renal kidney dialysis clinic and the Monterey Bay Canners restaurant — have made individual decision to remain open tomorrow.
Pearlridge Center will officially open as usual on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 10 am.
Kahala Mall will be closed, Friday, August 8, 2014 and will resume regular business hours on Saturday, August 9, 2014 until further notification. Kahala Mall will continue to monitor the impending storm and will adjust the mall schedule as deemed necessary.
