HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's business as usual for tour companies at Kewalo Boat Harbor Wednesday. Fishing and diving groups are also booked for Thursday, but the Captains know they may have to cancel on Friday depending on what Hurricane Iselle brings.
"We're gonna wait and watch," says Ray Collier of Ruckus Sportfishing and Diving. Collier says the issue at this harbor is the sea wall. Waves hit the wall and then retreat, meaning the boats get rocked twice.
Collier says he does plan on better securing his boat to the slip Thursday night and is adding fenders to protect both the boat and the pier.
Other tour companies say they too will evaluate the threat before deciding if reservations should be cancelled.
