HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

More support for ousted UH Manoa Chancellor Tom Apple was seen on the university's campus steps on Friday.

Students and faculty protesting the firing of Apple placed more than 100 apples, each signed by a protester, on the steps of Hawaii Hall where Apple’s office is located, late Friday afternoon.

Members of the executive committee of the UH Manoa Faculty Senate met with UH President David Lassner to get his explanation for Apple’s firing in a meeting on Friday in Hawaii Hall.
