WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) - Maui police say speeding is the suspected cause of a crash that killed a 29-year-old motorcyclist.
The Maui News (http://is.gd/jbtTxN) reports that Jordan Costa of Haiku was heading north on the Kuihelani Highway Wednesday night when his motorcycle rear-ended a pickup truck.
Police say Costa skidded off the roadway into brush on the shoulder of the highway. Police say the motorcycle caught fire.
Costa died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
