Saint Marianne Cope's Remains Return to Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Saint Marianne Cope's remains returned to Hawaii, and here to talk about the momentous occasion are Bishop Larry Silva of the Honolulu Catholic Church and Sister Roberta Smith, General Minister of the Sisters of Saint Francis of the Neumann Communities.

Saint Marianne Cope traveled across the country and over the Pacific Ocean to work and care for those suffering from Leprosy on the island of Molokai.

Although she was in direct contact with the patients, miraculously she never contracted the deadly disease.
