TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as 66 year-old David Martinez.

A man was found dead in his home by police on Friday night after a concerned co-worker reported the man had not shown up for work in a week.

Tucson Police responded to the call around 8 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of West Budmoore Terrace, which is near I-10 and Grant Road. The co-worker waited outside of the house until police arrived. Once police officers entered the home, they discovered an adult male with obvious signs of trauma, indicative of a homicide, according to a TPD press release.

It appears no one had seen or heard from the man since last Saturday, July 19, according to TPD.

Anyone with information about this incident should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
