NAPLES, FL (WBBH/NBC) - A Florida man is making a reputation for himself as a hero.

"If I see someone in distress or anything I'm going to stop and help them. That's the American way," said Tony Strong, who does not consider himself a hero.

On Wednesday, Strong was on his way to work when he drove by a wreck.

He says the car was flipped on the driver's side and the driver was still inside.

"The next thing I know the window started opening and no one else was at the window so I just put my hand in there and said 'Come on buddy, let's get out of here,'" he said.

It's not the first time he's saved a life. In December, he saved a woman and two children sleeping inside a trailer that was on fire.
