Homeless woman charged for murder following downtown Honolulu assault

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the woman who was killed in downtown Honolulu on Monday as 46-year-old Sandra Wollaston. Officials said she died from blunt force injuries of the head and neck after an assault near Ninja Sushi on Bishop Street and Adams Lane.

Kimberly Jin Udo, 42, was charged Tuesday for second-degree murder and is being held on a $500,000 bail.

Honolulu police said both women were homeless.
