Crash involving gasoline truck causing traffic delays in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Traffic is backed up in Clarksville as crews work to clear the scene of a crash involving a gasoline truck and an ice truck.

This is happening at the intersection of the Highway 41A Bypass and Highway 12. Traffic is reportedly bumper-to-bumper in the area.

Sgt. Charles Gill with the Clarksville Police Department said the gasoline truck does not appear to have spilled any materials.

The roadway will be closed until both trucks can be removed, and officials are asking drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid the area.
