Man arrested in LA, charged with disrupting flight

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A passenger who allegedly disrupted a flight from London to Los Angeles has been charged with a federal crime.

The FBI says 20-year-old Kevin Lee Mosele of Kihei, Hawaii, was charged Tuesday with interfering with a flight crew. He could face up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted.

Authorities contend that Mosele was disruptive, threatening and abusive to passengers and the flight crew aboard a British Airways jetliner Monday. The FBI says he had to be physically restrained. He was arrested when the plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

Mosele is free on a $10,000 bond and it's unclear whether he's obtained a lawyer.

There was no public phone listing for him.
