LSU's Dural speaks on 2014 expectations

The LSU football team will be looking to some younger and a little less experienced players at their skills positions the season.  Sophomore wide receiver Travin Dural is one of those with the tall task of having to replace big time production at wide out with Odel Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry now playing on Sundays.

Dural was 4th on the team in receiving last season and says he's built a lot of rapport with Parkway's Brandon Harris this spring and summer.  He says the both know what comes with wearing the purple and gold and they're ready to show exactly what got them to Baton Rouge.

Dural said, "We have a lot of expectations for each other. I havea lott of expectations for whoever the quarterback is going to be whether its Brandon or Anthony and I havea lott of expectations for myself you know. I have some pretty big shoes to fill. Brandon and Anthony have some pretty big shoes to fill. So coming into the season after the spring we've built a couple, a bunch of confidence. We're just trying to go, we're just trying to learn and just try to get a feel for each other."

The Tigers open up against Wisconsin in Houston on August 30th.

Being on that island is an assignment that all Defensive Backs are forced to bear. The former Fair Park Indian Morris Claiborne went on to be a star at LSU and has made a good living on that island in the NFL. The former 1st round pick has learned a lot from being in that position and wants to pass what he knows to the youth in this community.
