This celebration of songwriters, as well as Texas wines and microbrews, will be held at the Quiet Valley Ranch, 9 miles south of the Texas Hill Country resort community of Kerrville on TX Hwy 16.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2014

The music is featured in three 5-hour concerts starting at 7pm each evening in the Kennedy Outdoor Theater. The outdoor theater gates open at 6pm, so come early and get your favorite spot reserved! You can bring a blanket to place on the wooden benches or bring your own chair and sit on the hill. Also, plan to come out for our 2-hour afternoon concerts from 1 3PM on Saturday and Sunday at Threadgill Theater that has covered seating.

The performers for the Friday evening concert include Willy Porter (WI), Seth Glier (MA), Nora Jane Struthers & the Party Line (TN) and Ponty Bone (TX).

Saturday evening the line-up consists of Ariana Gillis (Canada), Dave Gunning (Canada), Charlie ACourt (Canada), Jon Dee & William Graham (TX) and Vance Gilbert (MA).

Sunday night will feature Darryl Purpose (CO), Amilia Spicer (CA), The Sherpas (TX,TN,CA), Patrice Pike (TX) and Joe King Carrasco (Mexico).

The Brew Fest will continue for the third year and will present Texas Microbrews alongside the wonderful Texas wines that have been featured for over 20 years. The seminar for Texas wines and food pairings will be on Saturday from 3:30 - 5:30pm. The seminar for Microbrews will be on Sunday from 3:30 - 5:30pm. The goal for the wine and beer tasting program is to send guests home with a greater understanding and appreciation for the spirits of Texas. In recent years, wines from Texas have compared favorably to those from France, California and other places around the world. After 6pm each evening, the Texas wineries and microbreweries will have booths in the Kennedy Outdoor Theater where they will have samples and bottles of their current wines and brews available for sale, as well as, wine and beer glasses.

Also, the Home brewers will be doing some informational seminars and will have home brewing equipment available for purchase.

VIP Events (See the ticketing page for info on these soirées with food and drinks and gifts.)
The festival includes Arts & Crafts booths, escorted hill country bike rides, yoga, and wide range of food and beverages that are available in both the theater and the campgrounds. Just like the Kerrville Folk Festival in the spring, the campgrounds will come alive with spectacular after-hours song circles and jam sessions immediately following the shows.

The three-day, Labor Day weekend advance discount adult ticket price is $100 and includes campground access and lot parking. Single-day, advance discounted tickets are currently available for a $5 saving each night. Advance prices will expire at midnight on August 28th.
