A 2-year-old boy was pulled out of the water on Sunday afternoon at Ala Moana Beach Park in an apparent near-drowning incident.
Officials said a bystander pulled the boy out of the water at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, and began administering CPR.
With the assistance of lifeguards, the boy's pulse returned, and he was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
According to lifeguards, another child was watching the little boy at the time of the incident.
