KAAAWA,OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
If you're looking for a little off-road challenge that will get your heart racing, you can check out the Freedom Fest Races happening on Saturday, July 5th and Sunday, July 6th.

Camp Bennett has partnered with Xterra and Kualoa Ranch to launch the 6th year of the Freedom Fest Races, two days filled with off-road racing in Ka'a'awa valley.

More than 1000 athletes from around the globe will participate in seven different races including swimming, biking, running, and all while raising money for Wounded Warrior, Access Surf, and a Clean Water Initiative.

Whether you're a racer, volunteer, sponser, or spectator, guests will be able to enjoy ocean views, mountain climbs, movie sets, live music, and great food.

President of Camp Bennett Amy Eck joined Dan Cooke on Sunrise to tell us more about the upcoming event.
