BWS completed repairs to the broken water main at approximately 6:15 p.m. Dillingham Boulevard, between Mokauea and Kalihi Streets, remain closed as crews pave the road.
Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews continue to work to repair a broken 8-inch water main at 1824 Dillingham Boulevard in the Kalihi area.
All lanes on Dillingham Boulevard between Mokauea Street and Kalihi Street are closed at this time. Lanes on the Makai side of Dillingham Boulevard (eastbound) are now closed as a paving contractor works to repair damage to the roadway. This traffic pattern may be adjusted as the repair work progresses. Drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible. Special duty officers are at the scene to help direct traffic flow.
Twelve customers remain without water service. A water wagon is positioned at 1808 Dillingham Boulevard as an alternate water source.
