The Mahiai Match-Up gives farmers and entrepreneurs seed money to make their agricultural dreams a reality. Keawe Liu, executive director of Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation, is here on Sunrise to talk about the contest.

The Mahiai Match-Up Agricultural Business Plan contest is a way for Hawaii's farmers and entrepreneurs to compete for a portion of Kamehameha Schools' most valuable agricultural land, and start-up seed money from Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation, to help put their business plans into effect. An initial plan proposal must be submitted by August 15, 2014.
