HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Motorists planning to travel along the H1 Freeway this weekend might want to keep an eye out for lane closures due to the ongoing rehabilitation project.
The Hawaii Department of Transportation advises drivers of partial closures of the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction from Likelike Highway to Ward Avenue.
Closure times are from, midnight tonight to at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, June 28.

- Pali Highway Offramp
- Punchbowl Street Offramp
- Kinau Street Offramp
All lanes and ramps will be re-opened by 8 a.m., Saturday, June 28. All westbound lanes will remain open.
The amount of work completed tonight will decide the extent of closure on Saturday, June 28, from midnight to Sunday 8 a.m.
In addition to pavement reconstruction and repaving, the project includes the widening of the Nuuanu Stream Bridge and Palama separation, and restriping to create four through lanes in each direction.
The H1 Freeway Rehabilitation Project began in September and is scheduled to finish by the end of July.
