MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WWBT) -

More than a dozen Central Virginia teens arrested in Myrtle Beach on Friday night were riding in a pickup truck with open cans of beer, according to a police report.

Police now say 16 teens were taken into custody, not 17 as previously reported. Thirteen were in the back bed of the truck, some with open beer cans, according to the police report. Three others were in the cab of the truck where the officer said he found a beer bong and an open case of beer.

The report states all the teens admitted to drinking alcohol through the day, except for the driver. The teens were all 19 or younger, with three under the age of 18. Thirteen were from the New Kent area, one was from Williamsburg and two were from North Carolina.

All were arrested for purchase or possession of alcohol by a minor.
