HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Michelle Wie turned in her worst round of the weekend, but she continues to lead the pack after round three of the U.S. Women's Open.

The Punahou alum fired a two-over par 72 Saturday and is currently tied for first with South Korea's Amy Yang.

Wie had three birdies early on, but would suffer a double bogey and two bogeys on holes 11 through 14.

"Even when things aren't going well, you just go to start all over again and make some pars, try and make some birdies, just keep grinding," said the 24-year-old in a post-round press conference. "It's a tough golf course, it's a battle out there, so it's going to be like that tomorrow again, I'm sure."

If Wie wins tomorrow, it'll be her first career major win.

Final round coverage begins at 9 a.m. Sunday on KHNL.
