HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The author of an autobiography that inspired the hit 2006 movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" will speak at two separate public events in Honolulu on Saturday.
Christopher Gardner, also an entrepreneur, will give the keynote presentation at AARP's Life Reimagined event at the Japanese Cultural Center. "Reboot Your Life: Savvy Strategies for Your Second Act" will focus on helping baby boomers envision possibilities in their lives and make them reality. It will include breakout sessions focusing on health, work, relationships technology and travel. The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon.
Gardner will then address audience questions at a free screening of "the Pursuit of Happyness" at Mission Memorial Auditorium from 6 to 9 p.m.
