HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - PAAC promotes international understanding by engaging community on global issues, fostering understanding by connecting people across borders, and inspiring students and young leaders.
The heart of PAAC's statewide high school program is to empower students and help them develop an international perspective. With the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to understand the way the world works, students see themselves as global citizens who contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.
Whether through PAAC's high school program that engages students in the Asia/Pacific region through global studies, language and leadership classes, conferences, and study abroad programs, or forums and the State Department Visitor Program, PAAC's vision is for the people of Hawaii to be engaged global citizens that create positive change for themselves, their communities, and the world.
