The Kamehameha High School Surf Team not only captured its first National Surfing title in the High School division, but also demonstrated the Hawaiian spirit and pride at the California competition. Cheering and waiving the Hawaiian flags, Kamehameha School's surf team came out on top.
Individual winners from Kamehameha include National High School shortboard boys title holder Imaikalanii DeVault of the Maui campus and shortboard girls Cayla Moore of the Kapalama campus. Teammate Kealohi Sabate of Kapalama campus also placed 5th overall.
