WASHINGTON, DC (NBC) - Sunni militants have taken another city in their march toward Baghdad.
Tel Afar has fallen to ISIS fighters. Their push toward Iraq's capitol has many Shiites taking up arms to defend the city, and has even prompted the United States to consider an alliance with Iran as part of a broader effort to stabilize the country.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is racing to get thousands of diplomats and other civilians out of Iraq.
