More than 100 volunteers came together on Saturday to help Hawaii's homeless. The outreach effort was held on Kilihau Street, right next to the airport viaduct.

Those who stopped by got free clothes and food, and information booths were set up by groups like "The Hawaii Meth Project" and "Queen's Women Health." Plus, free eye exams were also given.

There are more than 6,000 homeless in Hawaii, and 4,500 on Oahu alone, where the numbers have gone up every year since 2009.
